Description The training course in the ambit of the Guide-line Cultural Heritage aimed at civil servants and executives from the Croatian Ministry for Cultural Heritage, concluded with a thematic session on Natural Resources.
The final module on Natural Resources will be held at the Conference Hall of the Croatian Ministry of Culture on December 11th, 12th and 13th. The three day seminar aims at studying in depth various issues concerning natural resources in view of the provisions included in the new Code of Cultural Heritage and in reference to the cases analyzed e.g. regional Landscape Design Plans and in general all the application practices and related implications concerning the Italian situation.
The course will be opened by Ms Anna Di Bene, Director of the Service 2 Landscape, Directorate General for Architecture and Natural Heritage of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities. Ms Di Bene will provide tangible examples about the evolution of the regulations on Landscape Protection in Italy and related intervention tools in light of the new Code of Cultural Heritage and the European Landscape Convention.
On the second and third day, the course will focus on presenting regional landscape design plans, in particular the case of the Sardinia region which has been the first Italian region to have approved the regional Landscape Design Plan. Mr Giuseppe Biggio, Director of the regional Service for Territorial Planning – Independent Region of Sardinia – as well as Ms Paola Lucia Cannas from the Directorate General for Territorial Town-Planning and Building Surveillance - Independent Region of Sardinia will outline their personal experiences.
The Councillor for Local Entities Finance and Town-Planning of the Independent Region of Sardinia, Mr Gianvalerio Sanna as well as the Croatian Vice Minister for Culture, Mr Jasen Mesic, will take part in the last module. The latter will be an occasion for sharing opinions on the perspectives of future collaboration between Croatia and the Independent Region of Sardinia.
