Description

From November 19th to 23rd in Durazzo (Albania) the final module of the training course was held, on the management of Protected Areas agreed upon with the Albanian Ministry of the Environment, Forests and Administration of Water. The works were opened by Professor Pellumb ABESHI, General Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment, Forests and Administration of Water.
Giommaria Pisanu from Formez and Genti Kromidha, an Albanian expert, gave a report of the results of the first training module which was held in October.
The course concluded on Friday 23rd with the presentation and experimentation of project cycle management methods with the support of Matteo Frate who outlined the financing opportunities for projects in South East Europe. The Director of UTL from the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Tirana presented the institutional system for the management of protected areas which was implemented in Sardinia by Ms Carla Argia Canu. In conclusion, a round table was held by Formez about the prospects of future collaboration between Albania and the Sardinia Region with the participation of Paolo Tola.
